Caribbean Coconut Sundae-WBIR Video
You can indulge in a healthy treat. Here is a simple, healthy and satisfying treat.
4 T. Organic extra virgin coconut oil
4 Bananas peeled and sliced in half
4 T. Coconut sugar
2 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Vanilla
¼ cup Molasses
1 T. of Pineapple juice
4 Lg. scoops of Coconut Gelato
In a large skillet melt 2 tbsp of coconut oil on medium heat. Add bananas and sauté until browned on both sides. Set aside.
Melt the other 2 tbsp of coconut oil in same skillet. Stir in coconut sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, molasses and pineapple juice. Add bananas back in and coat with sauce.
Dish up bananas, top with gelato and drizzle with remaining sauce. That’s how you create a quick healthy dessert that your whole family will enjoy!!
